Matt is a founding Director of the Practice, delivering Quantity Surveying, Employer’s Agent, Project Management, and Contract Administration services.

Graduating from Anglia University in 1992 with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Matt became a Chartered Surveyor in 1998. He worked for Stern & Woodford, Moreton and Padmore, ChandlerKBS and GPM Partnership before founding Moreton Consulting with James Moreton in 2001.

As an NEC accredited Project Manager, Matt enthusiastically promotes the use of the NEC suite of contracts as a critical factor for the successful outcome of any construction project.

Matt has a wealth of knowledge advising both public and private clients across building and civil engineering sectors. Matt’s most notable projects include the pre construction commercial management of Dover and Folkestone Wastewater Treatment Works, and that of the Eastbourne Water Treatment Works.
